US Senator John McCain called for military support for the rebels of the Libya Friday, including weapons, training and intensified air strikes, in an endorsement for the opposition in its fight to oust Muammar al-Gaddafi. McCain also called the "patriots" rebels without any link with al-Qaida, contrary to what some critics have suggested and added that they should receive Gaddafi assets which were frozen by other countries. The President of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, said that while Iraq that the time was difficult to predict, the possible eviction of Kadhafi and his family from power is certain. ?
