Police found more remains on Long Island

The police found a skull as a bag containing the only official implementation legislation said appeared to be "upper and lower extremities". They were found in two or three miles apart. the authorities said that they had not determined if the remains were more of a victim.

The two discoveries were made off the coast of the north end of the promenade of the ocean, and the discovery of eight bodies in the County of Suffolk. The first four of these bodies have been found near Gilgo Beach in December and belonged to prostitutes in his 20s who had disappeared since 2007.

Because these four victims were all sex workers and their bodies had been dumped in canvas bags of jute, investigators suspect that the same killer was responsible.

The other sets of remains human, found since late March, have not been identified. It is unclear if the police have turned to all links to suggest that the same killer was to blame.

"We have eight sets in Suffolk County," said a spokesman for the Nassau County, lieutenant detective Kevin Smith Police service. "We have two more now." It was very surprising. ?

As for what link exists, if any, exists between the remains found Monday and the body found in the East, the detective Lieutenant Smith said only, "it bears investigation."

A State Police officer and a dog trained to sniff found dead early Monday - the bag remains containing the ends - about three miles west of the county line, shortly before noon. It was not immediately clear what type of bag held the remains.

Around 3: 30 p.m., research officers about a mile west of the county line found what appeared to be a human skull hidden among the Brambles and thickets, Lieutenant detective Smith said at a press conference.

The skull was found approximately 96 feet North Ocean Parkway in a reserve, the John f. Kennedy Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary, said Lieutenant detective Smith.

The discoveries of the bodies began in December as the County of Suffolk authorities searched a missing prostitute from New Jersey, Shannan Gilbert, who disappeared in May. It has yet to be found.

After combing their seven miles extending from the promenade of the ocean, an East-West Highway which crosses the island Jones Beach, Suffolk suspended their search authorities last week, and the focus turned to a stretch of five miles of Ocean Parkway in Nassau, extending west to the Wantagh State Parkway.

"Concluded Suffolk their research on the county line, and we decided to go a little further," said Lieutenant detective Smith.

Monday, about 150 Police officers of the State, the Police State Park and the Police of Nassau service - some horse - scoured coastal dunes on the South side of the Ocean Parkway and tangled vegetation on the North.
