Toddler used alcohol to Applebee's

(CNN) --15 month was hospitalized after a scramble behind-the-bar in the restaurant of a Michigan Applebee left the toddler sipping alcohol instead of Apple juice.

Police were called to the restaurant Madison Heights Friday night after the parents of Dominic Wilson Jr. noticed their son acting strange in a dinner family.

"He said"Hi"and"bye"on the walls," said mother of Wilson, Taylor Dill-Reese, 18. "He laid down his head as he was asleep, and then woke up and really hyper.".

As a first step, Dill-Reese blamed his strange behaviour on lack of sleep. But she said at the end of the meal, father of Wilson was surprised by what it tasted after taking a SIP of juice of his son.

The juice is an alcoholic invention which has been stored in a container of misleading, according to a press release from the service Police of Madison Heights.

"The container was Apple juice, but it was margarita mix in it" Dill-Reese said.

Wilson was immediately transported to the hospital, where his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.10, Dill-Reese said.

"They said if he had been drinking that any Cup that he would be dead", she says, adding that she and her family will never return to the restaurant.

"It was unreal," she said. "You don't expect to go to the family restaurant, and gets your 15 months of age is used for l'alcool.."

Reese Dill, said the child is OK, but they take him to see a doctor because he is "not to eat as it.".

Reese Dill, said she and her boyfriend - who are under 21 years and not legally allowed to drink - have been both smoothies drink during the meal.

"Obviously any situation like this is unacceptable," officials of the Applebee said in a statement. "We in collaboration with local authorities and our own investigation to evaluate exactly what happened."

Police considered the incident an accident.
