(CNN) - a US man was detained in Northern Korea, two representatives of the State Department told CNN.
Diplomatic sources speaking provided it be not identified, said that the man is a Korean American businessman. One of the sources stated that the businessman had a visa to enter the North Korea.
The State Department works in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, said the officials. The United States urges the North Korean authorities, through the Swedish free the man for humanitarian reasons.
