
(Mashable) - Verizon customers interested in signing a contract of one year (as opposed to the two standard) should lock in their selections now. the company has confirmed that it eliminates the option of one year from 17 April contract.
Verizon claims takes the policy place change because the "majority of customers register for a two year contract.
More important provider wireless of the country (at least up to this AT & T/T-Mobile agreement is approved) previously offered users the opportunity to sign contracts of one year or extensions instead of the standard two-year contract agreement.
Customers who have opted for the one-year contract were always able to buy new equipment at a discount, although a lesser discount that agreements funded for two years.
In an e-mail to BGR, Verizon reiterated that month contract free plans would be available to consumers.
During this time, according to the circulars of project obtained by DroidLife, Verizon may be presenting a new plan prepaid to month offering unlimited voice text for $50 per month and user.
Data will cost extra (would have $30 per month for unlimited data).
AT & T recently increased the price of early-upgrade on some of its smartphones and feature phones.
